Teen Driving and Speed Safety

A program for young drivers and their parents

Monday, March 12 at 5:30 PM Sponsored by The Molly Bish Institute for Child Health and Safety and HealthAlliance Hospital at HealthAlliance Hospital –Leominster Campus

Simonds Building, Entrance F, Guild Conference Room

More teenagers die in auto accidents than from any other cause. One in four crash fatalities in the U.S. involve 16 to 24 year olds. The first six months of licensure are the most dangerous for any driver and the crash risk remains twice as high as that for adult drivers until age 25.The good news is that there are effective ways to reduce crash and injury risk for young novice drivers. Learn how at this free informative program. Come hear expert speakers and panelists share the latest research and recommendations on safe driving for teens. Speakers will address seat belt use, hazard perception skills training, minimizing distractions, and drowsy driving.

This is one program parents and their teens don’t want to miss!
