United Way Youth Venture Teams

SHIRLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT – Partners since 2003

Overview:

• There are 12 active teams in the Shirley School District
• A total of 13 teams have been launched in Shirley to date
• Shirley has four teams working toward panel.
• More than 250 students have been introduced to United Way Youth Venture in 2008
• 61 students actively participate in a United Way Youth Venture team
• Beginning in the 2008-2009 academic year, Shirley will implement a UWYV class at the Middle School
